Our Team.
Michael Mihalka
Founder/ Principal Engineer
Before Co-founding 29Tech, Mike was a senior design engineer at Juggernaut Defense, where he led product development efforts for both customer-based projects as well as Juggernaut Case products.
Prior to holding more traditional engineering roles Mike spent time in the motorsports industry working for Champ Car and IndyCar teams as a data engineer. He is a graduate from Arizona State University where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the mechanical engineering honor society, Pi Tau Sigma
Andrew Phillips
Founder/ Principal Engineer
Before Co-founding 29Tech, Andy held global engineering leadership positions at A.O.Smith and Generac, where he managed engineering teams in the US, Europe, and Asia.
He holds several patents in motor design and led Generac’s Smart Platform Initiative and New Product Introduction team. He is a former UL delegate for the standards committee and has founded and launched numerous data-based companies.
