Results that make a difference

JASC developed a highly accurate electronically-controlled pressure regulating system for mission-critical aerospace use. The controller we make for this system is a small but essential device that monitors and adjusts pressure within an extremely tight tolerance band. This level of precision gives engineers more structural margin in the design.
Our integrated design and engineering partner, 28 Gorilla, led the design review and subsequent redesign of the controller. Once the updates were complete, 29Tech took over prototype manufacturing, low volume manufacturing and compliance testing. We build every controller and make sure each unit will survive the rigorous operational environments before it’s delivered to the customer.
Validating performance before it takes flight
Pressure regulation is critical to safe aerospace operations, whether it’s placing a satellite or powering another high-value system. Proving that a regulator can withstand real-world stress is a challenge on its own. JASC’s previous vendor couldn’t test for the environmental and electrical extremes in-house. That meant relying on outside labs, which added cost, slowed delivery and made it harder to get precise, component-level results.
JASC needed a manufacturing partner with the tools, skill and supply chain operations management to test and validate every unit before shipping, with results they could trust in the most demanding environments.
Replicating the stresses to earn customer confidence
We built on 28 Gorilla’s updated design and used an advanced burn-in station that matches the conditions this regulator faces in service. That includes controlled thermal cycling, voltage changes and constant signal monitoring to see exactly how each unit performs under stress.
Every regulator goes through this process with results checked against strict pass or fail requirements. We log the data and connect it to the unit’s serial number for complete traceability. By building this validation into our manufacturing quality control, we cut lead times, improve accuracy and give JASC confidence in every shipment.
